CHARACTER PRICING (USD)

Rough Sketch (Limited Palette)

Basic Render (Full Flat Color)

*Additional shading for basic renders can be added for 20% of the base character price

Full Render / Painting

$80 ✦ Portrait
$100-120 ✦ Fullbody

*Halfbody pricing for all teirs will fall between portrait and fullbody price (I just find it more sensible to draw the entire body at that point but I can do halfbody if you'd like)

ADDITIONAL CHARACTER PRICING

Additional characters are also priced based on how much of them is drawn, just like the base character prices. I also take into consideration how much a character will be obscured either by another character or other elements.

BACKGROUND PRICING

✦ Backgrounds included for free would be any abstract background such as gradiants, shapes, simple frames, etc..✦ Backgrounds with actual contextual environments (furniture elements, a room, landscape etc.) are much more variable. I take into account the subject, the amount of detail, it's complexity, and how much of the background is covered by the characters.Backgrounds will start at $10 for simple elements, and can go up to $50 for more complex scenery (possibly higher if the background has that many details).

RIGHTS

Commissioner's Personal Use Rights INCLUDE:

✓ Right to use the art as your profile picture and/or social media banner
✓ Right to print art on anything so long as it is out of commissioner’s pocket and for personal use only
✓ Right to repost art to social media with proper credit to minisculemars

Commissioner’s personal use rights EXCLUDE:

⨯ Selling rights to the artwork
⨯ Using the artwork for any type of monetary profit (selling physical prints or digital copies)
⨯ Using the artwork for any large-scale for-profit projects such as games, books, animations, ect.
⨯ Using artwork for the promotion of a business (putting art on business cards or business website)
⨯ Modifying the artwork in any substantial way (cropping and filters are fine, not drawing over it)
⨯ Using the artwork to make an NFT
⨯ Feeding artwork into generative AI models

My rights as the artist ENTAIL:

✓ Rights to the individual illustration created (not the rights to your OCs or IPs depicted)
✓ Right to post the commission to social media and use it for portfolio/example (unless commission is private)
✓ Right to possibly make prints of commission if it does not include commissioner's original characters & I am given permission by the commissioner.

PAYMENT

✦ All commissions are currently paid VIA PayPal
✦ Payment will be issued via invoices by me, the artist.
✦ Payment is due before any progress on the commission is started. I will allow a minimum deposit of 50% but will halt progress until commission is paid in full.
✦ Full refunds will be issued if commission is cancelled before any artwork has been drawn.
✦ Partial refunds will be proportional to how much work has already been completed.

✦ Give a brief description of your idea- doesn't have to be super detailed yet, just the jist such as:

- Style of commission (rough sketch, basic render, full render)
- The character(s) involved (if an OC- an image would be useful)
- Headshot or fullbody (or something in between?)
- Any other noteworthy details you'd like me to knowAlso let me know what name to call you and any social's if you'd like (for credit and character referencing)!

✦ Once I accept your request, I will give you a quote on the price. If the price is agreed upon, we can move forward with details. Somewhere between here and the next step, I will send you a paypal invoice.

✦ Now it is time for you to send references. References for original characters are required. I would also appreciate references of IP characters as well. References aren't limited to characters either, you should also consider pose, expression, environment, color, ect..Of course as the artist there will be a degree of artistic liberty I take, but you have something specific in mind, please communicate it to me!

✦ Your commission will take anywhere from a couple days to a couple weeks to complete, depending on complexity, your timely communication when it comes to feedback on WIPS, and your placement in queue. I try to cap out turnaround at no more than 3 weeks. Once it is finalized, I will send the high resolution file(s) to you.
